ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧತೆಯ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಟಿಂಡೇಲ್ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡಿನಿಂದ ಪಲಾಯನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಜರ್ಮನಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲೋ ಕಂಟ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಖಂಡಾಂತರ ಯೂರೋಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿ ಅನುವಾದವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. 1535ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಂಟ್ವರ್ಪ್ ಸಮೀಪ ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಯಿತು; ನಂತರ ಬ್ರಸ್ಸೆಲ್ಸ್ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ವಿಲ್ವೂರ್ಡೆ ಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರಾಗೃಹಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು.
1536ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 6ರಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರಣದಂಡನೆ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಯಿತು — ಮೊದಲು ಕಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಉಸಿರುಗಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ನಂತರ ಸುಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯಾದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ: “ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡಿನ ರಾಜನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯು.”

Your reading data (streaks, achievements, reading plans) is stored locally on your device using browser storage. Usage events are sent to our servers with a random device identifier so we can monitor reliability — these include which passage is playing, plus summary facts such as your streak counts, achievement unlocks and reading-plan activity.
We collect usage analytics (such as which features are used and how often) through Google Analytics, linked to a random device identifier. No personally identifiable information such as your name or email is included.
We never ask for your name or email, and there are no user accounts or logins. Like any website, our servers record technical details of each request — such as your IP address and browser — to keep the service secure and reliable.
Word meanings, verse meanings and transliterations are machine-generated and may differ from traditional Bible wording. Settings describes them as machine-generated where you turn them on, and each of them can be switched off there. None of them replaces the translation you selected.
Wireless projection pairs a screen and a phone using a short-lived pairing code or QR code. No account or sign-in is needed. Stopping the projection disconnects your devices, and the pairing session expires on its own.
Every Bible translation we serve has been individually reviewed for copyright and licensing. We publish only what we are permitted to publish.
