Howbeit whenHe, theSpiritof truth, is come,Hewill guide you into all truth: forHeshall not speak ofHimself; but whatsoeverHeshall hear, that shallHespeak: andHewill shew you things to come.
And theSpiritof the Lord shall rest upon him, theSpiritof wisdom and understanding, theSpiritof counsel and might, theSpiritof knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
Even theSpiritof truth;Whomthe world cannot receive, because it seethHimnot, neither knowethHim: but ye knowHim; forHedwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
But theComforter, which is theHoly Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,Heshall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
