But theComforter, which is theHoly Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,Heshall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see theSpiritdescending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with theHoly Ghost.
When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, theComforterwill not come unto you; but if I depart, I will sendHimunto you.
Howbeit whenHe, theSpiritof truth, is come,Hewill guide you into all truth: forHeshall not speak ofHimself; but whatsoeverHeshall hear, that shallHespeak: andHewill shew you things to come.
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which,saith he, ye have heard of me.
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
