A Syrian captain is healed of leprosy by heeding the word of the man of God, then confesses that there is no God but the LORD of Israel. When Gehazi lies and covets the gifts refused by his master, he is smitten with the leprosy that left Naaman. This account showeth that humble obedience bringeth cleansing, while greed and deceit bring swift judgment upon the soul.
