An aged overseer writes unto a chosen household, rejoicing that her children walk in truth, and urging love shown by obedience to the commandments of God. He warneth against deceivers who deny that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, and commandeth separation from such, that believers may keep a full reward and enjoy holy fellowship in truth and love.
