This long record declareth how the LORD ordered the generations from Adam unto David and Solomon, established the throne, set the Levites in holy service, and promised an everlasting house. It comforteth believers that God remembereth his covenant, guideth worship, pardoneth sin, and buildeth his kingdom in his own wise time.
