This holy vision was given to John in exile to shew the servants of God things which must shortly come to pass. It revealeth the Lamb’s worthiness, the pouring out of divine wrath, the fall of Babylon, the binding of Satan, the last judgment, and the new heaven and new earth. It calleth all men to repent, to overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and to take the water of life freely, holding fast in hope of the holy city and the kingdom that shall never pass away.
