This passage declareth how the LORD with a stretched out arm bringeth Israel out of the house of bondage, smiteth Egypt with great plagues, ordaineth the passover, divideth the sea, giveth manna and water, frameth a holy covenant with commandments, and causeth His glory to dwell in the tabernacle. Believers learn the fear of the LORD, the power of the blood, the weight of idolatry, and the comfort of His abiding presence.
