On the border of the promised land, the servant of God rehearses the law, the mighty works of the LORD, and the covenant of blessing and cursing. He calls Israel to fear the LORD, to love him, and to choose life by cleaving unto his statutes, a solemn charge that yet instructeth all who seek to walk in his ways.
