This passage declareth how the risen Lord by the Holy Ghost sent forth His apostles, confirmed the word with signs and wonders, gathered a people from Jew and Gentile, and strengthened them to preach repentance and remission of sins amid persecution. It calleth believers in every age to receive this same salvation, to walk in the fear of the Lord, and to bear witness with boldness.
