Reading URL grammar: `https://bible.peplamb.com/?v={VERSION}&r={REFERENCE}` where `v` is a version abbreviation (KJV, NIVUK, RVR1960, POV-FAS, CNV, …) and `r` is a compact reference — book code plus chapter, optional verse or range: `Ge1` (chapter), `Jn3:16` (verse), `Ps23:1-6` (range). Book names in many languages are accepted and normalized. UI language: append `?lang={locale}` (58 interface languages: en, es, pt-BR, fa, hi, zh-Hant, …); bare URLs are the English x-default and each page advertises its hreflang alternates.
