عوبدیا ۱:۱

این است نبوّت عوبدیا دربارهٔ اَدوم:

'in 'ast nabovvat 'ubadyā darbāre 'edum:.

«شنیدم که خداوند متعال

« shenidam ke khodāvande mota'āl.

قاصدى نزد ملّتها فرستاده است که مى‌گوید:

ghāsedi nazde maltehā ferestāde 'ast ke miguyad:.

'آماده شوید تا به جنگ با اَدوم برویم!'»

' 'āmāde shavid tā be jang bā 'edum beravim!'».

This is Obadiah's prophecy about Edom: "I heard that the Almighty God has sent a messenger to the nations saying: 'Get ready to go to war with Edom!'"
