TAOVBSI
Tēvaṉ nōvāvaiyum, avaṉuṭaṉē pēḻaiyilirunta cakala kāṭṭu mirukaṅkaḷaiyum, cakala nāṭṭu mirukaṅkaḷaiyum niṉaittaruḷiṉār; tēvaṉ pūmiyiṉmēl kāṟṟai vīcappaṇṇiṉār, appoḻutu jalam amarntatu. God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and all the wild animals that were with him in the ark; God caused the wind to blow over the earth, and the waters settled.
God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and all the wild animals that were with him in the ark; God caused the wind to blow over the earth, and the waters settled.
The Ark Rests on Ararat
The Flood Subsides
God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and all the wild animals that were with him in the ark; God caused the wind to blow over the earth, and the waters settled.
The fountains of the deep and the sluices of the sky were stopped up; The rain also stopped.
The water was drying up from the earth day by day; After one hundred and fifty days the water ran out.
On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
Only in the tenth month did the water flow; Mountain peaks were seen on the first day of the tenth month.
Noah Sends a Raven and a Dove
After forty days, Noah opened the window he had made in the ark.
He let out a crow; It came and went until the water on the earth dried up.
Then he sent a dove out of him to see if the water had abated on the earth.
Because there was water all over the earth, the dove found no place to rest its soles, and returned to him in the ark; He reached out his hand and took it and took it with him into the ark.
After seven days, he again let the dove out of the ark.
The dove came to him in the evening; Behold, an olive leaf was in its mouth, which it had plucked; That is why Noah knew that the water on the earth was reduced.
And after seven days, he sent out the dove; It never came back to him.
Exiting the Ark
In the year that he was six hundred and one years old, on the first day of the first month, the waters dried up from the earth; Noah looked at the top of the ark; There was no water on earth.
On the twenty-seventh day of the second month, the earth was dry.
Then God said to Noah;
Get out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives with you.
Bring out with you all the birds and beasts that you have, and all the creatures that move on the earth; He said that they spread on the earth in multitudes and multiply on the earth.
Then Noah, his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives set out.
All the animals that move on the earth, all the creeping animals, and all the birds came out of the ark by their kind.
Noah Builds an Altar
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and chose some of every clean animal and every clean bird and offered them as burnt offerings on the altar.
The Lord smelled the fragrance. And the Lord said: No more will I curse the ground because of man; The memories of a man's heart are evil from his youth; As I have done now, I shall no longer confound all beings.
He said in his heart that sowing and reaping, heat and summer, summer and winter, day and night will not end as long as the earth is alive.
