யாத்திராகமம் 2:18

TAOVBSI

அவர்கள் தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய ரெகுவேலிடத்தில் வந்தபோது, அவன்: நீங்கள் இன்று இத்தனை சீக்கிரமாய் வந்தது என்ன என்று கேட்டான்.

Avarkaḷ taṅkaḷ takappaṉākiya rekuvēliṭattil vantapōtu, avaṉ: Nīṅkaḷ iṉṟu ittaṉai cīkkiramāy vantatu eṉṉa eṉṟu kēṭṭāṉ.
When they came to their father Reguel, he asked: Why have you come so early today?

TAOVBSI

அதற்கு அவர்கள்: எகிப்தியன் ஒருவன் மேய்ப்பரின் கைகளுக்கு எங்களைத் தப்புவித்து, எங்களுக்குத் தண்ணீர் மொண்டு கொடுத்து, ஆடுகளுக்கும் தண்ணீர் காட்டினான் என்றார்கள்.

Ataṟku avarkaḷ: Ekiptiyaṉ oruvaṉ mēyppariṉ kaikaḷukku eṅkaḷait tappuvittu, eṅkaḷukkut taṇṇīr moṇṭu koṭuttu, āṭukaḷukkum taṇṇīr kāṭṭiṉāṉ eṉṟārkaḷ.

And they said: An Egyptian delivered us into the hands of the shepherd, and gave us water, and watered the sheep.

TAOVBSI

மோசே மீதியான் தேசத்து ஆசாரியனாயிருந்த தன் மாமனாகிய எத்திரோவின் ஆடுகளை மேய்த்துவந்தான். அவன் ஆடுகளை வனாந்தரத்தின் பின்புறத்திலே ஓட்டி, தேவபர்வதமாகிய ஓரேப் மட்டும் வந்தான்.

Mōcē mītiyāṉ tēcattu ācāriyaṉāyirunta taṉ māmaṉākiya ettirōviṉ āṭukaḷai mēyttuvantāṉ. Avaṉ āṭukaḷai vaṉāntarattiṉ piṉpuṟattilē ōṭṭi, tēvaparvatamākiya ōrēp maṭṭum vantāṉ.

Moses tended the sheep of his father-in-law, Ethro, who was a priest in the land of Midian. He drove his sheep to the back of the wilderness and came only to Oreb, the mountain of the gods.

தேவன் மோசேக்கும் தமது ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கும் செய்த யாவையும், கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலை எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினதையும், மீதியானில் ஆசாரியனாயிருந்த மோசேயின் மாமனாகிய எத்திரோ கேள்விப்பட்டபோது,

Tēvaṉ mōcēkkum tamatu jaṉamākiya isravēlukkum ceyta yāvaiyum, karttar isravēlai ekiptiliruntu puṟappaṭappaṇṇiṉataiyum, mītiyāṉil ācāriyaṉāyirunta mōcēyiṉ māmaṉākiya ettirō kēḷvippaṭṭapōtu,

When Ethro, Moses' father-in-law, who was a priest in Midian, heard all that God had done for Moses and his people Israel, and that the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt,

அப்பொழுது மோசே தன் மாமனாகிய ரெகுவேல் என்னும் மீதியானனுடைய குமாரனான ஓபாவை நோக்கி: உங்களுக்குத் தருவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொன்ன ஸ்தலத்துக்கு நாங்கள் பிரயாணம் போகிறோம்; நீயும் எங்களோடே கூட வா, உனக்கு நன்மைசெய்வோம்; கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நல்ல வாக்குத்தத்தம் பண்ணியிருக்கிறார் என்றான்.

Appoḻutu mōcē taṉ māmaṉākiya rekuvēl eṉṉum mītiyāṉaṉuṭaiya kumāraṉāṉa ōpāvai nōkki: Uṅkaḷukkut taruvēṉ eṉṟu karttar coṉṉa stalattukku nāṅkaḷ pirayāṇam pōkiṟōm; nīyum eṅkaḷōṭē kūṭa vā, uṉakku naṉmaiceyvōm; karttar isravēlukku nalla vākkuttattam paṇṇiyirukkiṟār eṉṟāṉ.

Then Moses said to his father-in-law, Reuel, the son of Midian: We are going to the place which the Lord said he would give you; Come thou also with us, and we will do thee good; He said that the Lord has made a good promise to Israel.
