Because God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Love Comes from God
va mohabbat dar hamin 'ast, na 'ānke mā khodā rā mohabbat nemudim, balke 'inke 'u mā rā mohabbat nemud va pesarkhod rā ferestād tākefāre gonāhāne mā shavad.
And love is in this, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son to be the atonement for our sins.
Love Comes from God
va 'az 'isā masih ke shāhede 'amin vanakhost zāde 'az mordegān va ra'ise pādeshāhāne jahān 'ast. mar 'u rā ke mā rā mohabbat minemāyad va mā rā 'ozgonāhān mā be khune khod shost,.
