But Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he drove the flock across the desert and came to Horeb, which is Jebel Allah.

And when Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard what God had done to Moses and his people, Israel, how God had brought Israel out of Egypt.
va musā be hobāb ben ra'u'il madyāni ke barādarzane musā bud, goft:« mā be makāni ke khodāvand darbāreye 'ān gofte 'ast ke 'ān rā be shomākhāham bakhshid kuch mikonim, hamrāhe mā biyā va betavāhesān khāhim nemud, chonke khodāvand darbāreye 'esrā'il niku gofte 'ast.».
And Moses said to Houbab bin Ra'uel Midiani, who was the brother-in-law of Moses: "We will move to the place that God has said that I will give it to you, come with us and we will settle, because God has spoken good about Israel."
