എന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ഏശാവിന്റെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; പക്ഷേ അവൻ വന്ന് എന്നെയും മക്കളോടുകൂടെ തള്ളയെയും നശിപ്പിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.
 
ente sahodaranaaya eshaavinte kaiyilninnu enne rakshikkename; pakshe avan vannu enneyum makkalodukoode thallayeyum nashippikkum ennu njaan bhayappedunnu.
Save me from the hand of my brother Esau; But I am afraid that he will come and destroy me and my mother with my children.

Esau hated his father Jacob because of the blessing he had blessed him with: the time of mourning for his father is at hand; And Esau said in his heart, I will kill my brother Jacob.

When Rebekah heard the words of Esau, the eldest son, she sent for Jacob, the youngest son, and said to him: Your brother Esau intends to kill you and take revenge.

anantharam yaakkob edomnadaaya sayeerdeshathu thante sahodaranaaya eshaavinte adukkal thanikku munbaayi doothanmaare ayachu.
Then Jacob sent messengers before him to his brother Esau in Seir, the land of Edom.

appol yaakkob ettavum bhramichu bhayavashanaayi, thannodukoode undayirunna janatheyum aadukaleyum kannukaalikaleyum ottakangaleyum randu koottamaayi vibhagichu.
Then Jacob was greatly bewildered and terrified, and divided the people, the sheep, the cattle, and the camels that were with him into two groups.

ഏശാവ് ഓടിവന്ന് അവനെ എതിരേറ്റ്, ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ വീണ് അവനെ ചുംബിച്ചു, രണ്ടുപേരും കരഞ്ഞു.
 
eshaavu oodivannu avane ethirettu, aalimganam cheythu; avante kazhuthil veenu avane chumbichu, randuperum karanju.
And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him; Falling on his neck and kissing him, they both cried.

എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; എന്നോട് എതിർക്കുന്നവരുടെ വശത്തുനിന്ന് എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കേണമേ.
 
ente daivame, ente shathrukkalude kaiyilninnu enne viduvikkename; ennodu ethirkkunnavarude vashathuninnu enne udharikkename.
Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of my enemies; Quote me from the side of those who oppose me.

നീതികേടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു രക്തപാതകന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.
 
neethiketu pravarthikkunnavarude kaiyilninnu enne viduvichu rakthapaathakanmaarude pakkalninnu enne rakshikkename.
Deliver me from the hand of those who work iniquity and save me from the bloodthirsty.

athukondu ninte janathinte edayil oru kalaham undakum; yudhadivasathil shalmaan bethu-arbbeline nashippichathupole ninte alla kottakalkkum naasham varum; avar ammaye makkalodukoode thakarthukalanjuvallo.
Therefore there will be strife among your people; As Salman destroyed Beth-arbel in the day of battle, all your fortresses will be destroyed; They have crushed the mother with her children.
