దేవుడు నోవహును, అతనితోపాటు ఓడలో ఉన్న ప్రతి జంతువునూ, పశువునూ జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకున్నాడు. దేవుడు భూమి మీద గాలి విసిరేలా చేయడంవల్ల నీళ్ళు తగ్గుముఖం పట్టాయి.
 
Dēvuḍu nōvahunu, atanitōpāṭu ōḍalō unna prati jantuvunū, paśuvunū jñāpakaṁ cēsukunnāḍu. Dēvuḍu bhūmi mīda gāli visirēlā cēyaḍanvalla nīḷḷu taggumukhaṁ paṭṭāyi.
God remembered Noah and every animal and cattle that was with him in the ark. God caused the wind to blow over the earth and the waters receded.

The Ark Rests on Ararat

The Flood Subsides
1 దేవుడు నోవహును, అతనితోపాటు ఓడలో ఉన్న ప్రతి జంతువునూ, పశువునూ జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకున్నాడు. దేవుడు భూమి మీద గాలి విసిరేలా చేయడంవల్ల నీళ్ళు తగ్గుముఖం పట్టాయి.
 
Dēvuḍu nōvahunu, atanitōpāṭu ōḍalō unna prati jantuvunū, paśuvunū jñāpakaṁ cēsukunnāḍu. Dēvuḍu bhūmi mīda gāli visirēlā cēyaḍanvalla nīḷḷu taggumukhaṁ paṭṭāyi.

2 అగాధజలాల ఊటలు, ఆకాశపు కిటికీలు మూసుకొన్నాయి. ఆకాశం నుంచి కురుస్తున్న భీకర వర్షం ఆగిపోయింది.
 
Agādhajalāla ūṭalu, ākāśapu kiṭikīlu mūsukonnāyi. Ākāśaṁ nun̄ci kurustunna bhīkara varṣaṁ āgipōyindi.
The springs of the abyss and the windows of the sky are closed. The heavy rain from the sky has stopped.
3 అప్పుడు నీళ్ళు భూమి మీద నుంచి క్రమక్రమంగా తగ్గిపోతూ వచ్చాయి. నూట ఏభై రోజుల తరువాత నీళ్ళు తగ్గిపోయాయి.
 
Appuḍu nīḷḷu bhūmi mīda nun̄ci kramakramaṅgā taggipōtū vaccāyi. Nūṭa ēbhai rōjula taruvāta nīḷḷu taggipōyāyi.
Then the water gradually receded from the earth. After one hundred and fifty days, the water receded.
4 ఏడవ నెల పదిహేడవ రోజున అరారాతు కొండలమీద ఓడ నిలిచింది.
 
Ēḍava nela padihēḍava rōjuna arārātu koṇḍalamīda ōḍa nilicindi.
On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ship came to rest on the hills of Ararat.
5 పదో నెల వరకూ నీళ్ళు క్రమంగా తగ్గుతూ వచ్చాయి. పదోనెల మొదటి రోజున కొండల శిఖరాలు కనిపించాయి.
 
Padō nela varakū nīḷḷu kramaṅgā taggutū vaccāyi. Padōnela modaṭi rōjuna koṇḍala śikharālu kanipin̄cāyi.
Till the tenth month, the water gradually decreased. On the first day of the month, the peaks of the hills were visible.

Noah Sends a Raven and a Dove

6 నలభై రోజులు గడిచిన తరువాత నోవహు ఓడ కిటికీ తీసి
 
Nalabhai rōjulu gaḍicina taruvāta nōvahu ōḍa kiṭikī tīsi
After forty days, Noah opened the window of the ark
7 ఒక బొంతకాకిని బయటకు పోనిచ్చాడు. అది బయటకు వెళ్ళి భూమిమీద నుంచి నీళ్ళు ఇంకిపోయేవరకూ ఇటూ అటూ తిరుగుతూ ఉంది.
 
Oka bontakākini bayaṭaku pōniccāḍu. Adi bayaṭaku veḷḷi bhūmimīda nun̄ci nīḷḷu iṅkipōyēvarakū iṭū aṭū tirugutū undi.
He threw out a crow. It went out and went around until the water was absorbed from the ground.
8 నీళ్ళు నేలమీదనుంచి తగ్గాయో లేదో చూడడానికి అతడు తన దగ్గరనుంచి ఒక పావురాన్ని బయటకు వదిలాడు.
 
Nīḷḷu nēlamīdanun̄ci taggāyō lēdō cūḍaḍāniki ataḍu tana daggaranun̄ci oka pāvurānni bayaṭaku vadilāḍu.
He sent out a dove from him to see if the water had receded from the ground.
9 భూమి అంతటా నీళ్ళు నిలిచి ఉన్నందువల్ల దానికి అరికాలు మోపడానికి స్థలం దొరకలేదు గనుక ఓడలో ఉన్న అతని దగ్గరికి తిరిగి వచ్చింది. అతడు చెయ్యి చాపి దాన్ని పట్టుకుని ఓడలోకి తీసుకున్నాడు.
 
Bhūmi antaṭā nīḷḷu nilici unnanduvalla dāniki arikālu mōpaḍāniki sthalaṁ dorakalēdu ganuka ōḍalō unna atani daggariki tirigi vaccindi. Ataḍu ceyyi cāpi dānni paṭṭukuni ōḍalōki tīsukunnāḍu.
Because the water was stagnant all over the earth, it could not find a place to put its soles, so it returned to him in the ship. He reached out and grabbed it and took it into the ship.
10 అతడు మరో ఏడు రోజులు ఆగి ఆ పావురాన్ని ఓడలోనుంచి బయటకు పంపాడు.
 
Ataḍu marō ēḍu rōjulu āgi ā pāvurānni ōḍalōnun̄ci bayaṭaku pampāḍu.
He stayed for another seven days and sent the dove out of the ship.
11 సాయంకాలానికి అది అతని దగ్గరికి తిరిగి వచ్చింది. దాని నోట్లో అప్పుడే తుంచిన ఒలీవ ఆకు ఉంది. దీన్ని బట్టి నీళ్ళు నేల మీద ఇంకి పోయాయని నోవహు గ్రహించాడు.
 
Sāyaṅkālāniki adi atani daggariki tirigi vaccindi. Dāni nōṭlō appuḍē tun̄cina olīva āku undi. Dīnni baṭṭi nīḷḷu nēla mīda iṅki pōyāyani nōvahu grahin̄cāḍu.
In the evening it returned to him. In its mouth was a freshly crushed olive leaf. From this, Noah realized that the water had fallen on the ground.
12 అతడు మరో ఏడు రోజులు ఆగి ఆ పావురాన్ని బయటకు పంపాడు. అది అతని దగ్గరికి తిరిగి రాలేదు.
 
Ataḍu marō ēḍu rōjulu āgi ā pāvurānni bayaṭaku pampāḍu. Adi atani daggariki tirigi rālēdu.
He stayed another seven days and sent the dove out. It did not return to him.

Exiting the Ark

13 ఆరువందల ఒకటో సంవత్సరం మొదటి నెల మొదటి రోజున నీళ్ళు భూమి మీద నుంచి ఇంకిపోయాయి. నోవహు ఓడ కప్పు తీసి చూడగా ఆరిన నేల కనబడింది.
 
Āruvandala okaṭō sanvatsaraṁ modaṭi nela modaṭi rōjuna nīḷḷu bhūmi mīda nun̄ci iṅkipōyāyi. Nōvahu ōḍa kappu tīsi cūḍagā ārina nēla kanabaḍindi.
On the first day of the first month of the year six hundred and one, the waters receded from the earth. Noah opened the ark and saw dry land.
14 రెండో నెల ఇరవై ఏడో రోజున భూమి పొడిగా అయిపోయింది.
 
Reṇḍō nela iravai ēḍō rōjuna bhūmi poḍigā ayipōyindi.
On the twenty-seventh day of the second month, the earth became dry.
15 అప్పుడు దేవుడు నోవహుతో,
 
Appuḍu dēvuḍu nōvahutō,
Then God said to Noah,
16 “నువ్వు, నీతోపాటు నీ భార్య, నీ కొడుకులు, కోడళ్ళు ఓడలోనుంచి బయటకు రండి.
 
“Nuvvu, nītōpāṭu nī bhārya, nī koḍukulu, kōḍaḷḷu ōḍalōnun̄ci bayaṭaku raṇḍi.
"Come out of the ship with you, your wife, your sons and daughters-in-law.
17 పక్షులను, పశువులను భూమి మీద పాకే ప్రతి జాతి పురుగులను, శరీరం ఉన్న ప్రతి జీవినీ నీతోపాటు ఉన్న ప్రతి జంతువును నువ్వు వెంటబెట్టుకుని బయటకు రావాలి. అవి భూమిమీద అధికంగా విస్తరించి భూమి మీద ఫలించి అభివృద్ధి పొందాలి” అని చెప్పాడు.
 
Pakṣulanu, paśuvulanu bhūmi mīda pākē prati jāti purugulanu, śarīraṁ unna prati jīvinī nītōpāṭu unna prati jantuvunu nuvvu veṇṭabeṭṭukuni bayaṭaku rāvāli. Avi bhūmimīda adhikaṅgā vistarin̄ci bhūmi mīda phalin̄ci abhivr̥d'dhi pondāli” ani ceppāḍu.
You shall go out after the birds, the cattle, every kind of creeping thing that creeps on the earth, every living thing that has a body, and every animal that is with you. They should spread over the earth and grow fruitfully on the earth,” he said.
18 కాబట్టి నోవహు, అతనితోపాటు అతని కొడుకులు అతని భార్య, అతని కోడళ్ళు బయటకు వచ్చారు.
 
Kābaṭṭi nōvahu, atanitōpāṭu atani koḍukulu atani bhārya, atani kōḍaḷḷu bayaṭaku vaccāru.
So Noah came out, his sons, his wife, and his daughters-in-law with him.
19 ప్రతి జంతువు, పాకే ప్రతి పురుగు, ప్రతి పక్షి, భూమి మీద తిరిగేవన్నీ వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారం ఆ ఓడలోనుంచి బయటకు వచ్చాయి.
 
Prati jantuvu, pākē prati purugu, prati pakṣi, bhūmi mīda tirigēvannī vāṭi vāṭi jātula prakāraṁ ā ōḍalōnun̄ci bayaṭaku vaccāyi.
Every animal, every creeping thing, every bird, everything that moves on the earth came out of that ark according to its kind.

Noah Builds an Altar

20 అప్పుడు నోవహు యెహోవాకు పవిత్రమైన పశువులు, పక్షులన్నిట్లో నుంచి కొన్నిటిని తీసి హోమబలి అర్పించాడు.
 
Appuḍu nōvahu yehōvāku pavitramaina paśuvulu, pakṣulanniṭlō nun̄ci konniṭini tīsi hōmabali arpin̄cāḍu.
Then Noah took some of the sacred cattle and birds and offered them as a burnt offering to Jehovah.
21 యెహోవా ఆ ఇంపైన వాసన ఆస్వాదించి “వారి హృదయాలు బాల్యం నుంచే దుష్టత్వం వైపు మొగ్గుచూపాయి. ఇక ఎప్పుడూ మనుషులను బట్టి భూమిని కీడుకు గురిచేయను. నేనిప్పుడు చేసినట్టు ప్రాణం ఉన్నవాటిని ఇకపై ఎన్నడూ నాశనం చెయ్యను.
 
Yehōvā ā impaina vāsana āsvādin̄ci “vāri hr̥dayālu bālyaṁ nun̄cē duṣṭatvaṁ vaipu moggucūpāyi. Ika eppuḍū manuṣulanu baṭṭi bhūmini kīḍuku guricēyanu. Nēnippuḍu cēsinaṭṭu prāṇaṁ unnavāṭini ikapai ennaḍū nāśanaṁ ceyyanu.
Yahweh smelled the smell and said, "Their hearts have turned to evil from their youth. I will never again make the earth evil because of man. I will never again destroy the living thing as I did.
22 భూమి ఉన్నంత వరకూ విత్తనాలు నాటేకాలం, కోతకాలం, వేసవి, శీతాకాలాలు, పగలూ రాత్రీ ఉండక మానవు” అని తన హృదయంలో అనుకున్నాడు.
 
Bhūmi unnanta varakū vittanālu nāṭēkālaṁ, kōtakālaṁ, vēsavi, śītākālālu, pagalū rātrī uṇḍaka mānavu” ani tana hr̥dayanlō anukunnāḍu.
As long as the earth exists, there will be no sowing season, no harvest season, no summer, no winter, no day and no night,'' he thought in his heart.
