Moses spoke to Hobabu. This Hobabu was the son of Revuel, the father of Moses' wife. He is from the Midian region. Moses said to Hobabu, "We are going to the land that Jehovah has shown us. Jehovah has told us that he will give it to you. Come with us. It will be good for you because of us. Jehovah has sworn to do good to the people of Israel."
