(प्रका. 12:9, प्रका. 20:2) yahova parameshvar ne jitane jangalee pashu banae the, un sab mein sarp dhoort tha, aur usane stree se kaha, “kya sach hai, ki parameshvar ne kaha, ‘tum is vaatika ke kisee vrksh ka phal na khaana’?” (praka. 12:9, praka. 20:2) The serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that Jehovah God had made, and he said to the woman, “Is it true that God said, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Rev. 12:9, Rev. 20:2)
The serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that Jehovah God had made, and he said to the woman, “Is it true that God said, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Rev. 12:9, Rev. 20:2)
The Serpent’s Deception
The Fall of Man
The serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that Jehovah God had made, and he said to the woman, “Is it true that God said, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Rev. 12:9, Rev. 20:2)
The woman said to the snake, “We can eat the fruits of the trees of this garden;
But about the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said that you must neither eat from it nor touch it, otherwise you will die.”
Then the snake said to the woman, “You will definitely not die.”
Rather, God himself knows that the day you eat its fruit, your eyes will be opened, and you will become like God, knowing good and bad.”
So when the woman saw that the fruit of that tree was good to eat, and pleasant to look at, and also desirable for giving wisdom, then she plucked from it and ate; And also gave it to her husband, who was with her and he also ate. (1 Tim. 2:14)
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized that they were naked; So they folded fig leaves and made loincloths.
God Arraigns Adam and Eve
Then they heard the voice of Jehovah God, who was walking in the garden in the cool of the day. Then Adam and his wife hid from Jehovah God among the trees of the garden.
Then Jehovah God called and asked Adam, “Where are you?”
He said, “I was afraid when I heard your voice in the garden, because I was naked, so I hid myself.”
Jehovah God said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree from which I told you not to eat?"
Adam said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.”
Then Jehovah God said to the woman, “What have you done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, so I ate.” (Rom. 7:11, 2 Cor. 11:3, 1 Tim. 2:14)
The Fate of the Serpent
Then Jehovah God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all the domestic animals and all the wild animals. You will walk on your stomach and lick dust all the days of your life.
And I will create enmity between you and this woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”
The Punishment of Mankind
Then he said to the woman, "I will greatly increase your pain and the pain of your pregnancy; you will suffer and give birth to children; and your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." (1 Cor. 11:3, Eph. 5:22, Col. 3:18)
And to Adam He said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate the fruit of the tree from which I commanded you, that you should not eat from it, cursed is the ground because of you. With sorrow you will eat from it all the days of your life (Heb. 6:8)
and it will make thorns and thistles grow for you, and you will eat the produce of the field;
And he will eat bread by the sweat of his brow, and in the end he will return to the dust; Because you were taken out of it, you are dust and will return to dust again.”
Adam named his wife Eve; Because she was the mother of all human beings who are alive.
The Expulsion from Paradise
And Jehovah God made clothes of leather for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
Then Jehovah God said, “The man has become like one of us, having the knowledge of good and evil. Therefore, let him not put out his hand and take the fruit of the tree of life and eat it and live forever.” (Rev. 2:7, Rev. 22:2,14,19, Gen. 3:24, Rev. 2:7)
So Jehovah God cast him out of the Garden of Eden to cultivate the land from which he was created.
So he cast out Adam and placed cherubs on the east side of the Garden of Eden to guard the way to the tree of life, and also a flaming sword turning every way.
