And when they came to Raguel their father, he said to them, Why have you come so quickly today?

And they said, An Egyptian man delivered us from the hands of the shepherds and drew water for us and watered the sheep.
[] And Moses tended the sheep of Jethro, his father-in-law, priest of Midian; and he brought the sheep to the back of the desert and came to the mountain of God, Horeb.
[] And Jethro, the priest of Midian, the father-in-law of Moses, heard all that God had done to Moses and to his people Israel, that the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.
[] And Moses said to Obab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, We are subject to the land about which the Lord said, This I will give you; come with us and we will treat you well because the Lord has spoken good about Israel.
