But we saw Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels and was crowned with honor and glory because of the suffering of death. He tasted death for everyone by the grace of God.
You see what love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God. We are truly his children. The reason why the world does not know us is because it has not known Him.
God sent his only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through him. God’s love for us is revealed here.
Love Comes from God
It is not that we love God, but that God loves us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. This is love.
