And all over the earth one language and one speech was used.

A po tsyalata zemya se upotrebyavashe edin ezik i edin govor.
And all over the earth one language and one speech was used.
2 И като потеглюваха човеците към изток, намериха поле в Сенаарската земя, гдето се и заселиха.
 
I kato poteglyuvakha chovetsite kŭm iztok, namerikha pole v Senaarskata zemya, gdeto se i zaselikha.
And as the men went eastward, they found a field in the land of Senar, where they settled.
3 И рекоха си един на друг: Елате, да направим тухли и да ги изпечем в огъня. Тухли употребяваха вместо камъни, а смола употребяваха вместо кал.
 
I rekokha si edin na drug: Elate, da napravim tukhli i da gi izpechem v ogŭnya. Tukhli upotrebyavakha vmesto kamŭni, a smola upotrebyavakha vmesto kal.
And they said to one another: Come, let us make bricks and bake them in the fire. Bricks were used instead of stones, and resin was used instead of mud.
4 И рекоха: Елате, да си съградим град, даже кула, чийто връх <да стига> до небето; и да си спечелим име, да не би да се разпръснем по лицето на цялата земя.
 
I rekokha: Elate, da si sŭgradim grad, dazhe kula, chiĭto vrŭkh do nebeto; i da si spechelim ime, da ne bi da se razprŭsnem po litseto na tsyalata zemya.
And they said: Come, let us build a city, even a tower, the top of which <should reach> the sky; and make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered over the face of the whole earth.
5 А Господ слезе да види града и кулата, които градяха човеците.
 
A Gospod sleze da vidi grada i kulata, koito gradyakha chovetsite.
And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower that men were building.
6 И рече Господ: Ето, едни люде са, и всички говорят един език; и това е което са почнали да правят; и не ще може вече да им се забрани, какво да било нещо, що биха намислили да направят.
 
I reche Gospod: Eto, edni lyude sa, i vsichki govoryat edin ezik; i tova e koeto sa pochnali da pravyat; i ne shte mozhe veche da im se zabrani, kakvo da bilo neshto, shto bikha namislili da napravyat.
And the Lord said: Behold, they are one people, and they all speak one language; and that is what they have begun to do; and they will no longer be forbade, whatsoever they may intend to do.
7 Елате да слезем, и там да разбъркаме езика им, тъй щото един други да не разбират езика си.
 
Elate da slezem, i tam da razbŭrkame ezika im, tŭĭ shtoto edin drugi da ne razbirat ezika si.
Come, let us go down, and there let us confuse their language, so that they do not understand each other's language.
8 Така Господ ги разпръсна от там по лицето на цялата земя; а те престанаха да градят града.
 
Taka Gospod gi razprŭsna ot tam po litseto na tsyalata zemya; a te prestanakha da gradyat grada.
So the Lord scattered them from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city.
9 За това той се наименува Вавилон {Т.е., Бъркотия.}, защото там Господ разбърка езика на цялата земя; и от там Господ ги разпръсна по лицето на цялата земя.
 
Za tova toĭ se naimenuva Vavilon {T.e., Bŭrkotiya.}, zashtoto tam Gospod razbŭrka ezika na tsyalata zemya; i ot tam Gospod gi razprŭsna po litseto na tsyalata zemya.
For this reason it was called Babylon {Ie., Confusion.} because there the Lord confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

Genealogy from Shem to Abram

10 Ето Симовото потомство: Сим беше на сто години, а роди Арфаксада две години след потопа;
 
Eto Simovoto potomstvo: Sim beshe na sto godini, a rodi Arfaksada dve godini sled potopa;
These are the descendants of Shem: Shem was a hundred years old, and he begat Arphaxad two years after the flood;
11 а откак роди Арфаксада, Сим живя петстотин години, и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Arfaksada, Sim zhivya pet·stotin godini, i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and since he begat Arphaxada, Shem lived five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
12 Арфаксад живя тридесет и пет години и роди Сала;
 
Arfaksad zhivya trideset i pet godini i rodi Sala;
Arphaxad lived thirty-five years and begot Salah;
13 а откак роди Сала, Арфаксад живя четиристотин и три години, и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Sala, Arfaksad zhivya chetiristotin i tri godini, i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and Arphaxad lived four hundred and three years after he begat Salah, and begat sons and daughters.
14 Сала живя тридесет години и роди Евера;
 
Sala zhivya trideset godini i rodi Evera;
Salah lived thirty years and begat Evera;
15 а откак роди Евера, Сала живя четиристотин и три години, и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Evera, Sala zhivya chetiristotin i tri godini, i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and Salah lived four hundred and three years after she gave birth to Evera, and begat sons and daughters.
16 Евер живя тридесет и четири години и роди Фалека;
 
Ever zhivya trideset i chetiri godini i rodi Faleka;
Eber lived thirty-four years and begot Phaleka;
17 а откак роди Фалека, Евер живя четиристотин и тридесет години и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Faleka, Ever zhivya chetiristotin i trideset godini i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and since he begat Falekah, Eber lived four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
18 Фалек живя тридесет години и роди Рагава;
 
Falek zhivya trideset godini i rodi Ragava;
Falek lived thirty years and begat Ragava;
19 а откак роди Рагава, Фалек живя двеста и девет години и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Ragava, Falek zhivya dvesta i devet godini i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and since he begat Ragava, Phalek lived two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
20 Рагав живя тридесет и две години и роди Серуха;
 
Ragav zhivya trideset i dve godini i rodi Serukha;
Raghav lived thirty-two years and begat Seruch;
21 а откак роди Серуха, Рагав живя двеста и седем години и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Serukha, Ragav zhivya dvesta i sedem godini i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and after he begat Seruch, Raghav lived two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.
22 Серух живя тридесет години и роди Нахора;
 
Serukh zhivya trideset godini i rodi Nakhora;
Seruch lived thirty years and begat Nahor;
23 а откак роди Нахора, Серух живя двеста години и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Nakhora, Serukh zhivya dvesta godini i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and after he begat Nahor, Seruch lived two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
24 Нахор живя двадесет и девет години и роди Тара;
 
Nakhor zhivya dvadeset i devet godini i rodi Tara;
Nahor lived twenty-nine years and begot Terah;
25 а откак роди Тара, Нахор живя сто и деветнадесет години и роди синове и дъщери.
 
a otkak rodi Tara, Nakhor zhivya sto i devetnadeset godini i rodi sinove i dŭshteri.
and after he begat Terah, Nahor lived a hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.
26 Тара живя седемдесет години и роди Аврама, Нахора и Арана.
 
Tara zhivya sedemdeset godini i rodi Avrama, Nakhora i Arana.
Terah lived seventy years and bore Abram, Nahora, and Aran.

Terah’s Descendants

27 Ето потомството и на Тара: Тара роди Аврама, Нахора и Арана; а Аран роди Лота.
 
Eto potomstvoto i na Tara: Tara rodi Avrama, Nakhora i Arana; a Aran rodi Lota.
These are the offspring of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahora, and Arana; and Aran begat Lot.
28 И Аран умря преди баща си Тара в Ур Халдейски, в родната си земя.
 
I Aran umrya predi bashta si Tara v Ur Khaldeĭski, v rodnata si zemya.
And Aran died before his father Terah in Ur of the Chaldees, in his native land.
29 И Аврам и Нахор си взеха жени; името на Аврамовата жена бе Сарайя, а името на Нахоровата жена Мелха, дъщеря на Арана, който <освен че> беше баща на Мелха, беше баща и на Есха.
 
I Avram i Nakhor si vzekha zheni; imeto na Avramovata zhena be Saraĭya, a imeto na Nakhorovata zhena Melkha, dŭshterya na Arana, koĭto beshe bashta na Melkha, beshe bashta i na Eskha.
And Abram and Nahor took wives; the name of Abram's wife was Saraiah, and the name of Nahor's wife was Melcha, the daughter of Arana, who <besides> being the father of Melcha, was also the father of Esha.
30 А Сарайя беше бездетна, нямаше чадо.
 
A Saraĭya beshe bezdetna, nyamashe chado.
And Saraya was childless, she had no child.
31 И Тара взе сина си Аврама и внука си Лота, Арановия син, и снаха си Сарайя, жената на сина си Аврама та излязоха заедно от Ур Халдейски, за да отидат в Ханаанската земя; и дойдоха в Харан, дето се и заселиха.
 
I Tara vze sina si Avrama i vnuka si Lota, Aranoviya sin, i snakha si Saraĭya, zhenata na sina si Avrama ta izlyazokha zaedno ot Ur Khaldeĭski, za da otidat v Khanaanskata zemya; i doĭdokha v Kharan, deto se i zaselikha.
And Terah took her son Abram and her grandson Lot the son of Aran, and Sarai her daughter-in-law, the wife of her son Abram, and they went out together from Ur of the Chaldees to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran, where they dwelt.
32 И дните на Тара станаха двеста и пет години; и Тара умря в Харан.
 
I dnite na Tara stanakha dvesta i pet godini; i Tara umrya v Kharan.
And the days of Tara were two hundred and five years; and Terah died in Haran.
